Hyundai is pretty new to the American market, it has been around for many decades but it has only been on the U.S.A. for about 23 years. Knowing most of the other car companies this is something to be afraid of. Most of the other successful companies have been around for at least 50 years. Surprisingly though this company has stuck around with the toughest of the tough. The history of this company is medium with its ups and downs. The best part though is how the representatives receive you and take you in as one of their friends. Their cars are also something to look at and be amazed by.
Hyundai has been around since 1947 when Chung Yu Jung founded the company. This company was started in Korea. The company expanded and formed with many other companies to make the Hyundai Corporation. Some of the best-known Hyundai divisions are Hyundai Motor Company which is the world’s 4th largest automaker and of the Asian four. The others being Toyota, Honda and Nissan.
When it started importing Hyundai had a great idea, why not form alliances with one of the most prominent car makers in America? They formed with Ford and it turned out to be a great choice. The cars that were coming out of this company were so superior to all the other ones on the market that when they exported to America and the feeding frenzy began.
With the new market open the company had a lot of room to expand upon. Although the Hyundai Corporation had fall out in the 90’s they decided to take their time and make many new designs that everyone would promising for the future. This decision turned out to be very beneficial in the long run because many people today enjoy the look of their sleek and pristine cars.
Over a decade ago Hyundai decided to change the face of its tarnished reputation and create the first ever “America’s Best Warranty” program to show the consumer the faith that they have in their cars. Today, in addition to this Warranty they have also introduced the “Hyundai Assurance” program to show they have faith in the consumer.
Hyundai is the first automaker in the United States to offer a vehicle return program that allows you to walk away from your loan or lease without having to worry about any negative equity or negative attention to your credit report in case of certain life-altering circumstances; such as involuntary unemployment, physical disability, loss of driver’s license due to a medical impairment, international employment transfer, self-employed personal bankruptcy or accidental death.
Hyundai has invested more than $1 billion into North America. They have added thousands of jobs across the United States. The assembly plant in Alabama is one of the worlds largest and most advanced and environmentally friendly.
