What comes to the mind when you hear the word BMW? Does a picture of a classic, beautiful, and sleek vehicle come to mind? That is what I think of when I hear it. BMW is not new to the car market; in fact they have almost been around for 100 years. These cars are how some car makers got their ideas and how they got some of their inspiration. The history of BMW is one that is filled with many achievements as well as many ups and downs on how they got started. They also have many different feelings about the way the car industry should be run and how they should treat their customers. One of the best aspects about BMW is that they showcase their dreams and aspirations so that everyone knows where they want to be in the future.
History
You would never think that one of the top selling car companies in the world was started by a person who made airplane engines. Karl Rapp had had problems with his airplane engines due to a lot of vibrations, fortunately a few years later he would form a company with Gustav Otto. The company was BMW. In the 1920’s the company had a short coming as well as a few great achievements. For example, in these years they produced their first motorcycle. Later the company would have a record in one of the recent motorcycle races in Germany. It was one of the first companies to put forth a type of motorcycle like this

In 1929 the first car would be driven through the assembly line and this little event would start an empire that would extend its roots into today. Also in that year a new land speed record would be recorded on a motorcycle that BMW had made. Not a lot had happened during the great depression for the car industry.
The cars that were being made would sometimes not be sold because not a lot of people had enough money. After the depression is a different story. People were coming back with more and more money and wanted to drive around in a car that looked professional but also was comfortable to drive in around town. These cars would live on till today and would begin to rise as a better and better vehicle. Soon there would be none like it.
Now-a-days there are many places around the world where there are a good amount of people that drive a BMW.
There are also many charities that BMW gives to as well as many little events that are sponsored in part by BMW. There are many golf tournaments that wouldn’t exist without the support of BMW. BMW has not only changed the history of vehicles but has also put forth a paradigm shift for the world. A new thought process on what giving is like and how we should look to BMW and follow their example. They have been great in the time that they have existed and I hope they continue to put forth examples into the future.
Ideas
BMW is unique in that they are frontrunners for a changing world, as the world becomes more and more concerned about the environment BMW also changes. BMW is trying to keep all of their cars the most efficient they can. They have those innovative commercials that are witty and very true were a person speaks and says that we should conserve more energy and use our cars to the most of their extent. If we use our cars we should at least be efficient in using them so that we can conserve and not harm anything we don’t have to. BMW is changing so that they can help the world.
Their ideas have helped shape our thoughts because they give and they share their profits with many charities. I hope that they always do what’s right and allow us to see the people who run this company are nice.
BMW treats their customers with dignity and respect because they know that the people who drive these cars want that treatment. They also do it so that you feel as if you are in control so that you can get whatever vehicle you want. They also offer great services so that if you need anything it’s right there for you. This is how they get everyone to come back with great service as well as great cars.
Future
The future for this company looks as if it will be around a lot longer than another hundred years. This company will continue to be great and bring in many more customers than ever before because they are nice to everyone and really are the leading car sellers of the world.
They will continue to grow through competition and inspire some of the other used of engines like planes, trains, and other things. They will also be great because they give back to other so that they can improve the way their life is going. This company is epic over all others.
